Named like the dirt, sand, and debris that is left behind when the sea meets the coast, Delta has always gone in the direction the world has pushed her. She is a free spirit from the way she lets her sandy blonde hair push out to its furthest potential, to her insistence that she not stay in one town too long, being a nomad is her bedrock. Her eyes are fierce and piercing, as if she is always fighting for her life, surrounded by enemies, all the while on the hunt. The creases of her nose and upper lip draw her face nearly into a perpetual snarl.
The inherent traits of the Vedalken has given her many advantages to her skill set. Where other hunters or assassins can only stick to shadows, Delta has also used the cloudy depths of lakes and rivers to take out her targets. It isn’t her fault she is so damn good at this job. Life told her to be this way. It molded her this way.
Her body is lean and slender, skin is as blue as the night sky with eyes to match, and her face wears scrapes and scars with honor, like a story waiting to be told. Her nose is still crooked from an elbow she should have seen coming. A scar walks from the base of her throat up to her left ear from the same man that gave her that blow to the face. He hunted her down after her failed attempt to fulfil a contract with his name on it. He drove a dagger upon her but that was not how she would let her story end. Her path still had use for her. One day, he will no longer be the one that keeps getting away…
Personality Traits: She is always keeping her eyes on the space around her, rarely making eye contact if she is in conversation. She is either alert or paranoid, though you cannot tell which from the outside, it is almost always both.
Ideals: Survival, Vengeance, Success. If Delta is set out on a goal, she will break anyone or anything that stands in her way.
Bonds: You are either a partner or a target. Otherwise, Delta doesn’t even notice you exist.
Flaws: She does not calculate cost into her plans, only looking at what she needs to do to succeed. This hyperfixation is why she is so effective, but she has no capacity to recognize the damage she has caused or endures.
