Innkeeper: Westin Knobbyknock

Westin Knobbyknock is the heady type. A man with his thoughts in the clouds, searching for meaning and purpose within the threads of details hidden in the world. His mundane life as an innkeeper is suitable for making ends meet and he likes how this role brings so many new faces, perspectives and tales his way. Each person is a new treasure chest of information to be opened, an artifact to study, and an angle through which, if he listens to enough and asks the right questions, he may just unlock a new truth about the purpose of life and the world around him.

Westin is a halfling with copper skin. His frame and build are bigger for a couple reasons. The first being that all good conversations happen over a hearty meal, and Westin loves to have good conversations. The other is that he does not shy away from the physical labor it takes to stock the inn and tavern. Despite his shorter height, Westin has an amazing talent for lifting heavy crates and barrels, utilizing every muscle in his body to get the job done. No task has ever been too big for this halfling.

His salt and pepper afro, very well kept, reminds people that his questions and attitude all come from a place of wisdom and curiosity. These are not the aimless “Why?”s of a child, but of a calculating and curious man. His moss green eyes often maintain a melancholy air that carries the weight of the thousands of peoples troubles he has endured night after night, listening.

His sideburns are more pepper than salt as they curl down his face bringing attention to his wolfish features, pointed ears and pointed nose, and bushy dark eyebrows. He has heard all of the rumors. “Westin runs around at midnight each evening to snag one of the town’s sheep!” or “Don’t insult the food or atmosphere of his inn! Westin will creep into your house and bring you into his pack!” But he knows the truth, none of them bear any reflection of reality. That doesn’t stop him from teasing the kids every once and again…

Personality Traits: Curious with his eyes to the world around him. Spacey if prompted with a deep thought he has never considered before.

Ideals: Wisdom and Experience. His purpose is to use his gifts and influence with his business to invite in people to learn from.

Bonds: Westin is protective over his employees, his patrons, and his business. This is home to him and all are his family, once they have shown a level of loyalty to him as well.
Flaws: He loves to exploit the naive, all for the sake of fun or a joke. Teasing kids or a lesser minded adult brings him a little guilty pleasure.
